Blown mind of the day:
Since everything is perceptual –
when a tree falls in the forest
and there’s no one there to hear it,
no one owning an ear drum and thus without the capacity to hear the sound –
then obviously, the falling tree did not make a sound.
Yes, it created a vibration.
But no sound.
When I’m not there to perceive things,
then it’s like, in my Universe, these things did not even happen.
Like dogs can smell so much more things than we are able to, but we dont blame them for “faking it”. We accept that their smelling apparatus is much more finely tuned than ours.
This then makes me wonder in awe, how many more cool things, like that falling tree, or those smells that dogs are able to smell, must be happening around me, every second.
So many awesome things to tune into, perceive and notice.
It seems meaningful to keep up that meditation and get more and more fine-tuned, perceptive and to pay more attention to whats really going on – around and within.
Because, from what I’ve seen thus far – there seem to be endlessly more things to discover by tuning in, feeling and noticing.
It’s exciting.
